Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team at ZOLL LifeVest. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in training patients on the use and care of LifeVest, a wearable cardioverter defibrillator designed to protect patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest.

About the Role

This is a remote independent contract worker position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work around your schedule. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Contacting caregivers and family members to schedule services
  • Traveling to patient homes and healthcare facilities to provide services
  • Training patients and caregivers on the use of LifeVest
  • Programming LifeVest according to prescribing physician's orders
  • Measuring patients and determining correct garment size
  • Reviewing and having patients sign necessary paperwork
  • Transmitting signed copies of the Patient Agreement and WEAR Checklist to ZOLL within 24 hours of the assignment
  • Managing device and garment inventory
  • Disclosing family relationships with potential referral sources

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of patient care experience in a paid professional environment
  • Completion of a background check (level 2 screening required for Florida and Ohio candidates)
  • Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable)
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance or valid state ID
  • Willingness to pay a $30 annual DME fee and additional vendor credentialing fees (if required)
