Patient Service Representative

**Job Summary**
A skilled Patient Service Representative is needed to provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in our Rochester, NY office.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Answer incoming calls and greet patients with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accurate and efficient use of time.
- Collect co-payments and past due balances, presenting financial policies and arrangements clearly to patients.
- Perform basic computer functions, including data entry and record filing.
- Facilitate effective patient flow, utilizing the callback system to minimize wait times.
- Identify and apply insurance coverage and billing, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Act in a professional manner, demonstrating superior customer service skills and supporting corporate vision and strategy.
**Requirements:**
- Six months of similar job experience, with a strong ability to assume essential responsibilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with a focus on effective scheduling and customer service.
- Demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology and protocols, with a commitment to compliance and quality care.
**Work Environment:**
This is a full-time, regular position in a fast-paced medical office setting. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on patient satisfaction and quality care.
