Position Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Operations Manager at Haven Transportation. This position involves supporting the enhancement of operational systems and processes within the organization, aiming to boost efficiency and profitability while adhering to all legal and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a proven ability to solve problems effectively. The company will provide necessary operational training; however, candidates should have basic computer skills to qualify. A valid driver's license and reliability are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support all operational functions of the organization
  • Engage with professionals through various communication channels
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of systems, processes, and procedures that enhance safety, efficiency, and profitability
  • Contribute to fleet management, vehicle safety, and operational tasks
  • Assist in the daily transportation of students
  • Monitor compliance and performance metrics for all staff
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of a high school diploma with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and basic office machinery
  • Strong understanding of organizational effectiveness
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, including the ability to change a tire and jump-start a vehicle
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working independently
