Job Summary:

Global Partners LP is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring a high level of customer service and store appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager with the management of store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service.
  • Directly supervise staff, including recruiting, hiring, training, and developing employees.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory levels, sales data, and employee performance.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience, with a focus on customer service and sales.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience supervising staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
