Job Title: Manager of Operations

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Manager of Operations to lead our annuity new business operations team in Hartford, CT. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and quality processing, establishing strong relationships with business partners, and driving process improvements to enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Balance resources, people, systems, and technology to meet quality and responsiveness measures.
  • Monitor production and call volumes, providing direction to staff to ensure staffing is in place to meet service levels.
  • Ensure employees follow staffing schedules as required.
  • Enforce and maintain standard operating procedures and service levels for team processes.
  • Investigate and rectify customer service issues in a timely manner.
  • Balance customer service with compliance guidelines.
  • Administer daily dashboards, measures spreadsheets, and monthly business review documentation.
  • Research, analyze, and drive process improvements and reporting enhancements to improve workflow and customer experience.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and coaching sessions with staff, assisting in training, development, and mentoring to satisfy customer requirements and improve productivity.
  • Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders throughout the organization, including Sales, Product, Legal, and Compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree required, advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience with 5 years of demonstrated managerial experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of annuities and life insurance is preferred.
  • Series 6 or variable product line experience is preferred.
  • Prior Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with proven leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate staff and collaborate with peers.

Compensation and Benefits: Global Atlantic offers a competitive total compensation package, including base salary, annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives, generous benefits, and sales incentives. The base salary range for this role is $76,767 to $146,223.
