We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tower Technician II to join our team at MasTec Network Solutions. As a key member of our telecommunications infrastructure team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecommunications equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain telecommunications equipment and systems, including towers, antennas, and transmission lines.
  • Conduct site assessments and develop plans for installation and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on telecommunications equipment and systems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications equipment and systems.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions per prints.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to climb towers, lift 50 pounds, and work up to 12 hours.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record meeting company policy conditions.
