Packaging Equipment Field Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Harpak-ULMA Packaging. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex technical issues on our packaging equipment and systems. This role requires a strong mechanical and electrical background, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize prior technical engineering education to work on mechanical, electrical, and controls issues on our packaging equipment and systems.
- Provide technical guidance to other Field Service Technicians.
- Conduct detailed service and expense reports in a timely manner, utilizing appropriate technology tools.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and services.
- Accredited Engineering Degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years proven field service experience in troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues desired.
- Prior industry-related experience a plus.
- Strong technical acumen, with the ability to learn concepts quickly and develop new skills and knowledge.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.

Work is performed in a combination of shop/warehouse environments. Exposure to fluctuating hot and cold temperatures. Exposure to warehouse elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils.

Proper use of safety devices as required for the safe operation of all machinery, tools and equipment.
