Position Summary:
The Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving the dealership's sales performance by effectively overseeing the sales team, strategizing short and long-term objectives, and achieving the targets set by senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop monthly forecasts for vehicle inventory needs across departments for the upcoming 90-day sales cycle.
  • Establish monthly and annual sales targets, including gross profit goals and departmental profitability.
  • Collaborate with each salesperson to set objectives regarding customer engagement, closing ratios, time management, prospecting efforts, unit sales, and anticipated earnings.
  • Propose strategies for both short-term and long-term marketing initiatives, sales promotions, staffing requirements, compensation structures, customer service protocols, performance evaluations, and rental services.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings with the team to review performance metrics and strategize daily action plans.
  • Provide on-the-job training for sales personnel, assess monthly commission statements, productivity metrics, and individual forecasts, along with departmental profit analysis.
  • Maintain an optimal vehicle inventory and implement strategies for effective inventory turnover.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales Manager in an automotive dealership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Proven track record in expanding sales operations.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills to foster team development.
  • Dynamic personality with a talent for building relationships.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • All candidates must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks, MVR, drug tests, and verification of a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual candidates with Spanish language proficiency are preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Sales Manager in an automotive dealership is highly desirable.

Compensation:
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $144,000 - $180,000+ per year
Based on achieving and surpassing departmental sales goals.

*The Sales Manager position includes a pay structure comprising a base monthly draw of $5,600, with commission opportunities based on closed sales, and potential production bonuses based on individual or team performance.

Work Schedule:
FULL TIME
5 days on, 2 days off, with weekend availability required.
