Senior Audit Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audit Associate to join our team at Distinct North America. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality audit services to our clients, ensuring their financial statements are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
With a strong background in public accounting and a passion for delivering exceptional results, you will work closely with our partners and clients to identify and mitigate risks, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Responsibilities- Conduct audits of financial statements, identifying and addressing any material weaknesses or deficiencies
- Develop and implement audit plans, ensuring timely and efficient completion of audits
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations and identify areas for improvement
- Provide expert advice on financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Participate in professional development programs to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A CPA or working towards it
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
