About the Role: As a vital member of Aprio's Audit team, you will assist clients in optimizing their financial opportunities. We are seeking a Senior Audit Consultant, Employee Benefit Plans to enhance our dynamic team. For privately held and closely held enterprises, accurate financial reporting is essential for effective management and successful business relationships. This critical function mitigates risk and instills confidence in key stakeholders. Our assurance professionals deliver specialized audit services that empower clients to make informed financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting audits with precision and expertise
  • Preparing audit documentation and adjusting financial statements
  • Utilizing effective time management to organize and schedule client engagements
  • Compiling financial statements and drafting comprehensive reports for presentation
  • Communicating the integrity of financial statements and related information to clients and colleagues
  • Building and nurturing relationships with clients and team members
  • Traveling to client locations as necessary

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in public accounting
  • Preferred: 1+ year(s) of experience in assurance services for Employee Benefit Plan clients
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field required
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Accounting or a related field
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Proficient in Excel and audit software such as CaseWare
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
