Job Title: Senior Federal Auditing Solutions and Change Management Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Federal Auditing Solutions and Change Management Lead to join our team at Talantage, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding a team in delivering Federal accounting, auditing solutions, and change management support to help the U.S. Army achieve an unmodified audit opinion on its financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team in delivering Federal accounting, auditing solutions, and change management support.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal financial standards and improve financial practices.
  • Drive successful audit outcomes through effective leadership and collaboration.
  • Responsible for briefing the Civilian government lead on the progress of objectives.
  • Effective execution of objectives throughout the duration of the period of performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Management/Administration.
  • One of the following active and current certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM).
  • Ten (10) years of experience with Federal financial management, including four (4) years of Federal accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) developed by the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), DoD financial management policies and procedures, and DoD and Army organizational structures.
  • Experience in performing financial statement audits and audit readiness services within the Department, the Federal government, or similar enterprise organizations.
  • Familiarity with current trends in enhancing compliance with accounting and auditing standards within an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with applicable Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and federal financial management systems requirements.
  • Familiarity with DoD policies, systems, and procedures for personnel, acquisition, inventory, property, and material management.
  • Demonstrate competence in understanding, reading, speaking, and writing the English language.
  • Interim SECRET security clearance and United States citizenship.
