Overview:

We are looking for a committed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students facing challenges with speech and language. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing communication abilities and fostering academic success for students.

Key Duties:

  • Assessment Administration: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine the speech and language needs of students, developing tailored therapy strategies.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions targeting a range of speech, language, and fluency issues.
  • IEP Collaboration: Engage in the creation and assessment of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), establishing specific communication objectives and monitoring advancements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside educators, families, and school personnel to seamlessly integrate therapy goals into everyday classroom practices.
  • Progress Documentation: Keep meticulous records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and student progress reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active North Carolina State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience in a school environment is advantageous.
