Speech Language Pathologist

Adoration Home Health and Hospice is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Speech Language Pathologist with our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' levels of speech or language difficulty and determine the need for continued therapy services
Determine the extent of communication problems by administering standardized tests and having patients complete basic reading and vocalizing tasks
Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices, as well as alternative communication methods such as sign language
Instruct other health team personnel, patients, and caregivers in therapeutic exercises and self-exercise programs
Document progress and clinical notes, noting patients' responses to therapy and submitting visit documentation per Agency policy
Qualifications:
Master's degree as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP
Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP
Minimum of one year (1) direct patient care experience, preferably in a home care environment
Current CPR certification
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance
