Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented General Office Associate to join our team at Home Depot. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the efficient distribution of products to our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to vendors, customers, and job applicants, ensuring a positive experience for all interactions.
  • Operate the switchboard or telephone console to route incoming calls and coordinate the flow of product with vendors and stores.
  • Schedule and coordinate the efficient distribution of products to meet store demand, analyzing and revising shipment plans as needed.
  • Work with other departments to ensure store satisfaction and accuracy of shipment records.
  • Investigate overdue vehicles, confer with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed, or damaged merchandise, and compare/verify identifying information or shipping records on incoming or outgoing shipments with bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Prepare appropriate documentation for domestic or international shipments and maintain records accordingly.
Requirements
  • Ability to use computer systems and knowledge of operational reports and procedures.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
