Job Description

Amphenol is seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for leading technical aspects of the sales cycle, developing personal relationships with key design influencers, and providing technical marketing support for the development and implementation of Amphenol solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineering resource on the AIPC Business Development team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle
  • Develop personal relationships and rapport with key design influencers at key accounts
  • Provide technical marketing support for the development and implementation of AIPC solutions
  • Prepare materials and participate in product presentations
  • Provide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and technical inquiries
  • Help devise strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from our competitors
  • Participate in industry standards, events, and training sessions to remain current with new developments in power conversion technologies, and ensure that these industry developments are well communicated within the AIPC organization
  • Meet and exceed strategic objectives

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Power Electronics is preferred
  • Strong Mechanical Design experience is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years displayed experience providing product marketing and technical sales support to produce design wins
  • Travel may be required, both domestic and international
