As a nonprofit entity, Brooks operates one of the largest inpatient rehabilitation facilities in the United States, featuring 160 beds, alongside a significant home healthcare agency and numerous outpatient therapy clinics. Each year, Brooks serves more than 60,000 patients through its extensive care network.

Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 7am - 6pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a positive patient experience through effective engagement.
  • Verify insurance benefits, secure necessary authorizations, and review intake documents for accuracy prior to evaluations and follow-up treatments.
  • Coordinate patient follow-up appointments in accordance with insurance protocols and the care plan established by the evaluating clinician.
  • Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles at the time of service.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating necessary information.
  • Communicate effectively with the center manager and provider relations specialist.
  • Engage in clear verbal and written communication with referral sources and vendors.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a data entry assessment.
  • Preferred experience in customer service.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
