Production Machine Technician
FULL-TIME

Compensation: $20/hr

  • Operate and manage machinery such as blown film extruders, silicone coaters, rewind/slitters, and related equipment to produce and process flat films.
  • Monitor machine functions, control panels, and indicators to identify issues such as roll quality, silicone consistency, and dimensional accuracy. Adjust machine settings, tensions, and operational parameters as needed.
  • Load materials into production and coating machines, ensuring proper measurement and adjusting feed mechanisms to establish feed rates.
  • Initiate metering pumps and oversee the operation of machines and equipment to maintain a steady flow of silicone coatings.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures to ascertain appropriate film production parameters and quality standards. Document details of any machine malfunctions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machinery and work environment. Clean finish rollers with cloths and wash finish trays with solvents when required.
  • Ensure that the quality of films and raw materials meets and surpasses both customer and company standards, with training provided in a laboratory setting as a Quality Assurance tester.
Work Schedule:

Shift start: 6:00 AM or 6:00 PM

Shift length: 12 hours

First shift: Sun-Tues 6 AM-6 PM and Wed 6 AM-12 PM; Third shift: Wed 12 PM-6 PM and Thurs-Sat 6 AM-6 PM; Fourth shift: Wed night 12 AM-6 AM and Thurs-Sat 6 PM-6 AM

Qualifications:
Must pass drug screening (cannabis excluded)
Must pass background check
Ability to lift 40 lbs
Minimum age: 18 years
Experience in a manufacturing environment for at least 1-2 years
Familiarity with rulers, scales, gauges, and other measurement tools
Able to stand, bend, squat, and lift 30 pounds
Dependable attendance and ability to work holidays
Eligible to work in the U.S.
