Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Operations Specialist to join our team at OSRAM. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment with a keen focus on machine quality and performance, ensuring optimal production levels and minimal downtime.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster a collaborative work environment with all team members and support staff through effective written and verbal communication, promoting a culture of teamwork and mutual respect.
  • Performance Documentation: Document machine and attainment performance daily, providing accurate and timely data to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality inspection of finished products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous improvement activities that align with Lean manufacturing principles, identifying opportunities for process optimization and implementing changes to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • 5S and Safety Standards: Maintain 5S and safety standards across all work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, using technical expertise to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Computer Skills: Have solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft products and ability to learn new software quickly.

  • Manufacturing Experience: Preferably have manufacturing experience, with a strong understanding of production processes and equipment.

  • Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge: Possess mechanical and basic electrical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
