Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager RN to lead our Ambulatory Services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the operations of a large unit or multiple units, ensuring that staff provides high-quality, accessible, and cost-effective care to members across the continuum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operations of a large unit or multiple units, ensuring that staff provides high-quality care and is in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to establish, implement, and maintain patient care and quality service standards to meet members' and internal clients' expectations.
  • Act as a patient advocate, resolving patient care issues and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.
  • Design and evaluate processes to improve systems and patient care results across the continuum of care.
  • Develop and monitor budgets and resource allocations, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet the needs of the department.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve quality of care/service.
  • Determine the appropriate staff mix for the department and develop processes to screen, interview, hire, train, and maintain the competency of all department staff.
  • Manage and resolve human resource, labor relations, employee, and department safety and risk management issues.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor departmental policies and procedures that support the organization's goals and business objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum five (5) years of nursing experience in management/leadership roles required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of supervisory experience required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or health-related field required or four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
  • Registered Nurse License (California).
  • Basic Life Support.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in an outpatient care setting.
  • Clinical specialization in area of practice.
  • Masters degree preferred.
