Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled GNC Program Director to join our team in Long Beach, California. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development of our artificial-gravity space stations, ensuring the safe and timely execution of our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with leadership to set goals, objectives, and performance metrics for the GNC team
  • Lead requirements gathering and systems engineering functions for the GNC team
  • Collaborate with mission assurance to establish GNC contribution to and evaluation of metrics for validation and verification events
  • Apply change, risk, and resource management principles
  • Manage schedule and allocate resources in support of ongoing mission
  • Report detailed status to leadership and executive team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar discipline
  • 8+ years of space industry engineering experience
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or similar discipline
  • Knowledge of computer applications and ability to navigate different software programs
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Logical and strategic approach to solving problems
  • Comfortable working in a high-stress environment balancing multiple projects
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends to support critical mission milestones
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
