About the Role

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Speech-Language Therapist to join its dynamic team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Establish speech and language treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools, and consult closely with team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies.
  • Therapy Sessions: Provide individual therapy sessions, as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate, to help children develop receptive and expressive language skills.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with children, families, and team members to understand their values, interests, and goals, and implement programming that considers all aspects of the child's needs.
  • Program Development: Contribute to the development of programs and services that meet the unique needs of children and families.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Possess a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed to practice in the state of California.
  • Clinical Skills: Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and a passion for working with children.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Be flexible and open to learning, and possess an appreciation for a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Have knowledge of HIPAA regulations and be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Compensation and Benefits

Cortica offers a comprehensive compensation package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401Ks with company matching and rapid vesting, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursements for professional development and continuing education, and referral bonuses.

The base pay range for this role is $87,111 to $108,888 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
