Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant. As an SLP, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-based setting. This position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate clients with speech and language disorders to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement treatment plans based on assessment results to address client goals.
  • Provide Therapy Services: Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to clients with disorders.
  • Collaborate with Families and Healthcare Professionals: Work with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support client goals and progress.
  • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in the field.
  • Advocate for Clients: Advocate for clients and educate them and their families about speech and language development and strategies for improvement.
Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • California State Licensure: Hold current California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a pediatric setting is advantageous, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to Create a Positive Therapeutic Environment: Ability to create a positive and supportive therapeutic environment.
