Position Overview:
Under guidance, responsible for the assessment and treatment of communication impairments. Ensures adherence to relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Conducts evaluations and provides therapy for communication and swallowing challenges in both adult and pediatric patients. Performs diagnostic assessments and tailors treatment plans to individual needs.
Collaborates with physicians and patients to discuss disorders and formulates treatment timelines. Maintains compliance with applicable regulations. Upholds departmental policies and procedures. Identifies potential areas for service improvement or enhanced patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience

Completion of a Speech Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Internship is mandatory by the time of employment.
Education
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is required upon hiring.
Licensure, Certification, Registration Speech-Language Pathologist License (California)
National Provider Identifier
Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate
Basic Life Support certification is required at the time of hire.

Additional Requirements:
Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations.
Ability to function effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
