- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Communication:
- Collaborate with regional directors, facility administrators, and staff to promote effective communication and teamwork.
- Facilitate regular meetings and updates to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Staffing and Hiring:
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled therapists and support staff.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet patient needs and maintain high-quality services.
- Nurturing and Coaching:
- Provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback to staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Staff Evaluation and Performance Review:
- Evaluate staff performance and provide regular feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Fiscal Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage department budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Monitor productivity and utilization of department resources.
- Level II Access:
- Ensure compliance with regulations and policies related to patient confidentiality and data protection.
- Graduate of an accredited Therapist program.
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience as a PT, OTR, SLP, COTA, or PTA, including 1 year of experience as a supervisor.
- Effective interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in business management preferred.
- Valid National Provider Identifier (NPI) and valid driver's license in good standing.
- Successful completion of a caregiver background check and pre-employment screen.
- Ability to use upper extremities for light repetitive, fine motor tasks.
- Adequate senses to safely and effectively treat patients or assist in emergency situations.
- Working knowledge of proper and safe use of therapy equipment.
- Medium to heavy physical demand level, exertion of force up to 50-75 pounds occasionally and 20-50 pounds frequently.
- Good problem-solving, organizational, math, and communication skills.
- Ability to concentrate, learn, possess good memory and listening skills.
- Good time management skills, able to prioritize.
- Per individual state requirements. For OTR/COTA - NBCOT certification is required.
