Job Summary

The Business Development Representative plays a vital role within the sales division, focusing on generating new business opportunities to drive success. This position requires a dynamic and results-driven individual with a knack for business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prospecting, lead qualification, and laying the foundation for our sales team to secure new business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs high-level outbound discovery calls to prospects matching the Ideal Client Profile
  • Conducts thorough market research to pinpoint key players
  • Collaborates on email campaigns with Director of Sales and Director of Marketing
  • Qualifies leads generated from marketing initiatives as sales opportunities
  • Initiates contact with potential clients through targeted cold calls and emails
  • Arranges meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives
  • Tracks and records activity and ensures data is accurately entered and managed within the CRM
  • Utilizes sales tools effectively to deliver comprehensive information to prospective clients
  • Ensures all actions are in alignment with overarching sales strategies
  • Works efficiently under pressure, meeting tight time constraints
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to constant improvement and a drive to meet both short- and long-term goals
Requirements
  • College degree in business, sales, marketing or 2 years equivalent work experience
  • Experience in lead generation, sales, or customer service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and any other standard software related to Sales & Marketing
  • Willingness to learn about our products and services
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and high energy level
  • Comfort in cold-calling and speaking to prospective clients
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
