The Issuance Program Officer plays a crucial role in assisting the supervisor with the management of the vital records issuance program. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient processing, verification, and issuance of essential documents, such as birth and death certificates. The officer will handle applications for delayed birth certificates, meticulously review submitted documents, and generate certificates upon receipt of appropriate documentation.

Additionally, the role includes maintaining accurate program data, implementing quality control measures, and fostering effective communication with stakeholders and clients. The Issuance Program Officer will provide technical, administrative, and clerical support while managing sensitive information and collaborating with various entities, including the public, federal and state agencies, and local officials. This ensures the lawful management, confidentiality, and preservation of vital records in Montana.
