Your Role:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will collaborate with product, development, and production teams to design and implement quality assurance strategies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and executing quality assurance plans.
- Developing user acceptance testing scripts for new functionality releases within Finance Operations.
- Monitoring the PI release schedule and maintaining a comprehensive stakeholder list.
- Validating test scripts and ensuring compliance with entry and exit criteria.
- Partnering with Product and IST teams to align with QA strategies.
- Setting up test environments and data.
- Reporting on UAT progress and ensuring that defects are managed comprehensively.
- Maintaining the QA playbook and utilizing Figma diagrams effectively.
What You Bring:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in roles involving scripting languages and the development of test plans and cases.
- Proven expertise in crafting and maintaining test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify, document, and troubleshoot software issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be advantageous:
- Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Involvement in user acceptance testing through various roles.
- Experience in creating incidents or defects and providing guidance to technical teams.
- Familiarity with tools such as xRay, Jira, and Confluence.
- Participation in xVantage deployments and coordination of user acceptance testing labs.
Compensation and Benefits:
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $80,000 to $136,000 per year. Compensation may vary based on location, pay grade, and individual performance. Ingram Micro offers a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with company match, and various wellbeing benefits.
