MRI Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Kaleida Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of MRI procedures to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to contribute to patient care plans
  • Practice patient safety and work with the MRI team to identify and drive quality and performance improvement initiatives
  • Provide care, preparation, and positioning of patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images using magnetic resonance imaging
  • Requires thorough knowledge and understanding of MRI principles and physics
Requirements:
  • Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology or graduate of an approved ARRT Certification Program required
  • Completion with a passing score of a cross-sectional anatomy exam required
  • ARRT MR certification within 3 years required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire
Working Conditions:

This is a per diem position with variable shifts and scheduled work hours. The salary range is $36.77-$46.54 per hour, and the position is located at Millard Fillmore Suburban in Buffalo, NY.
