Job Summary

Kaleida Health is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of MRI procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct MRI procedures to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to contribute to patient care plans.
  • Ensure patient safety and work with the MRI team to drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide care, preparation, and positioning of patients for high-quality diagnostic images using MRI technology.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of MRI principles and physics.
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of Kaleida Health.
Requirements
  • Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology or graduate of an approved ARRT Certification Program.
  • Completion of a cross-sectional anatomy exam.
  • 1 year of experience in MRI preferred.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT MR) certification within 3 years required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Necessary licenses/certifications upon hire/transfer.
  • Must become certified in MRI within 3 years of hire/transfer.
Work Details
  • Status: Per Diem
  • Shift: Variable
  • Scheduled Work Hours: Variable
  • Salary Range: $36.77-$46.54 per hour
  • Grade: T17
