Role Overview:

The Construction Superintendent is instrumental in ensuring the effective execution and support of diverse construction initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Construction Engagement: Participate in essential pre-construction discussions, including meetings with Project Managers and site visits with key stakeholders.
  • Site Management: Conduct regular visits to project locations, ensuring quality service delivery and timely completion by vendors and subcontractors. Uphold safety protocols to protect all personnel on-site.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with Project Managers on product orders and deliveries, ensuring that critical path items are integrated into project schedules.
  • Project Oversight: Diligently monitor project statuses, guide teams towards successful completion, and facilitate weekly status meetings to address any challenges that arise.
  • Project Closeout: Work with the Project Manager to compile necessary documentation for project closeout packages.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction; 5+ years preferred.
  • For candidates with a Bachelor's degree in construction, at least 2 years of Superintendent experience is required.
  • Proficient in MS Suite applications and knowledgeable about construction processes and industry best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
