About the Role

Path Construction is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Project Manager to join our team in the Phoenix, AZ area. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities of subcontractors and suppliers, contract administration, procurement, estimating, pay requests, change orders, requests for information, cost control, scheduling, tracking submittals, and maintaining a high level of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates and financial summaries
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, including delays, cost overruns, and quality issues
Requirements
  • 4-year degree in Building Construction, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of construction management experience
  • OSHA Site Safety Experience
  • Up-to-date with modern technology and excellent communication skills
  • General knowledge of construction principles and practices
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment
  • Valid driver's license with a positive motor vehicle record
  • Working knowledge of project management process and software
