Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent

Jokake Construction Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain safety protocols on the construction site
  • Develop and manage subcontractor scopes of work
  • Manage self-performing labor forces and create/update project schedules
  • Maintain general condition costs and manage subcontractor quality and schedule performance
  • Control Jokake's site quality control program and maintain daily reports and project tracking logs
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-7 years of experience as a construction superintendent or in a related position
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing commercial projects (office, healthcare, biotechnology, industrial retail, hospitality, food services)
  • Ability to manage projects from mobilization to closeout
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to complete safety checklists, infection control plans, and pre-construction task plans
  • Ability to document daily activities and complete reports and paperwork in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of subcontractor roles and ability to schedule them accordingly
  • Proficient at managing onsite crews to maintain schedules and inspect installations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and subcontractors
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance, Quality Control (QAQC)
  • Knowledge of ISO Standards
  • Knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
