Job Title: Registered Nurse Supervisor

Job Summary:

Richmond Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead our skilled nursing facility in Staten Island, NY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise nursing staff: Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure they are meeting the needs of our residents.
  • Implement policies and procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.
  • Mentor and train staff: Provide clinical and career guidance to less experienced nurses to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Monitor resident care: Review resident records and quality of care to ensure that our residents are receiving the best possible care.
  • Represent the unit: Act as a liaison between the nursing unit and upper-level management to ensure that the needs of our residents are being met.

Requirements:

  • Valid NYS RN License: Must hold a valid New York State Registered Nurse license.
  • Long-term care experience: 2 years of experience in long-term care is preferred.
  • Charge nurse experience: 1 year of experience as a charge nurse is preferred.
  • Leadership skills: Must have excellent leadership skills and be able to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Computer skills: Must have strong computer skills and be able to use electronic medical records.
  • Communication skills: Must have exceptional communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with residents, families, and staff.

Salary: $90,000-$100,000
