Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Production Scheduler to optimize production processes and ensure timely delivery of products. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain production schedules using ERP software
  • Collaborate with supervisors and stakeholders to prioritize production orders and allocate resources effectively
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure material availability
  • Analyze production capacity to improve throughput and reduce lead times
  • Communicate schedules and updates to production, quality, and customer service teams
  • Manage minimum inventory levels of finished goods to meet customer demands while minimizing aging inventory
  • Organize work centers for the production floor and manage lead times to align with delivery demands
  • Issue, track, and manage jobs through the rework process as necessary
Requirements
  • 5 years of scheduling and production control experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in metal fabrication
  • Proficiency with ERP software (Plex experience a plus)
