Key Responsibilities:- Safely manage all phases of manufacturing to ensure maximum production and quality control.
- Identify and resolve issues with equipment or personnel to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Provide training and coaching to production associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Maintain open communication with supply chain, quality, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure production schedules are met.
- Coordinate and administer training programs for new hires and existing associates.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Monitor and report on production metrics, including product loss and scrap production.
- Administer performance appraisals and provide feedback to production associates.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role with direct reports.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and manufacturing operations.
- Competency in computer and PC software, including email, internet, and MS Office.
- Plastics extrusion experience is strongly desired.
