Production Supervisor Role

At Jobot, we are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely manage all phases of manufacturing to ensure maximum production and quality control.
  • Identify and resolve issues with equipment or personnel to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Provide training and coaching to production associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Maintain open communication with supply chain, quality, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure production schedules are met.
  • Coordinate and administer training programs for new hires and existing associates.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Monitor and report on production metrics, including product loss and scrap production.
  • Administer performance appraisals and provide feedback to production associates.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role with direct reports.
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and manufacturing operations.
  • Competency in computer and PC software, including email, internet, and MS Office.
  • Plastics extrusion experience is strongly desired.
