Job Summary

The Area Director of Revenue is a key leadership position responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities for assigned hotels. This role will provide strategic direction and support to property teams to achieve revenue growth, profit, and market share through effective revenue management processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement revenue strategies to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to negotiate and book optimal group and catering business
  • Manage brand and third-party channels to maximize revenue
  • Analyze revenue reports to make informed yield management decisions
  • Develop and maintain sales and revenue management systems to support hotel operations
  • Provide training and support to hotel staff on revenue management principles and systems
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years of progressive experience in hotel operations or a related field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, and ability to formulate and report financial data
  • Understanding of general hotel operations and yield management principles
  • Ability to work with financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
