**Overview:** Ensure a secure and safe atmosphere for all personnel, residents, and guests within the facility, adhering to established security protocols.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conducts property security inspections and oversees building opening and closing operations during assigned shifts.
  • Manages visitor sign-in and sign-out processes, and provides escort services for funds, visitors, and staff as needed.
  • Responds promptly and effectively to emergencies, including fire, medical incidents, biohazards, bomb threats, severe weather, and other urgent situations.
  • Assesses situations quickly and takes appropriate measures to safeguard employees, clients, and visitors.
  • Handles all code and alarm activations, managing each situation to ensure successful resolution.
  • Participates in facility tours, evaluating access control measures, reporting environmental hazards (e.g., non-functional lights, broken fire doors, cluttered hallways, insufficient fire extinguishers), and monitoring the operational environment for safety and security issues.
  • Utilizes computer-linked security systems and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) for property surveillance.
  • Attends bi-monthly security meetings and completes required training to maintain job-related certifications.
  • Maintains uniforms in a professional and clean condition at all times.
  • Driving is a fundamental aspect of this role.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

**Supervisory Role:** None

**Education and Experience:** High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months experience in a relevant field.

  • Basic computer skills for accessing payroll, timekeeping, and personal information through a web-based system.
