Key Responsibilities

** Sign-on Bonus of $1500 for full-time roles**

Your Role Includes:
  • Initiating investigations and conducting thorough follow-ups for security incidents, while preparing a detailed security report documenting all findings.
  • Performing proactive foot and vehicle patrols across the entire campus, covering all floors and buildings.
  • Responding to all radio communications for various services, including but not limited to: escorts, property retrieval, disturbances, standby situations, and emergency codes.
  • Staying updated on all mandatory training, including CPI, PPCT, and required computer courses. Annual flu vaccination is also required.
  • Monitoring surveillance cameras and archiving footage as necessary.
  • Operating the C-cure system, which includes granting access and securing doors.
  • Upholding a high standard of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with team members, visitors, and patients, while adhering to the department's dress code.
  • Demonstrating the ability to de-escalate and maintain control in security-related situations.

CHI Health Security serves all campuses and properties within the Omaha Metro area. Security personnel may be required to work across multiple locations based on organizational needs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma, with some college education preferred.
  • Previous experience in Security, Military, or Law Enforcement.
  • First Aid certification.
