  • Facilitate the processing of orders, including intake, verification of benefits, documentation imaging, and client relations.
  • Gather, evaluate, and organize all essential paperwork for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) pre-authorization, billing, and patient co-payments.
  • Engage with sales representatives, healthcare professionals, office staff, and patients to collect necessary documentation.
  • Oversee orders to guarantee precise and prompt delivery for billing purposes.
  • Negotiate payment plans for equipment and supplies with patients utilizing effective sales strategies in a non-direct selling approach.
  • Adhere to corporate policies and procedures related to Corporate Compliance and HIPAA Programs, ensuring compliance with Medicare, CHAP, and other regulatory standards.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Previous experience managing DME orders.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of various payer systems, including private/commercial, self-insured employers, workers' compensation, and Medicare/government programs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Supplier Standards, ICD-9 (ICD-10) Coding, DMEPOS Coding protocols, and electronic billing requirements.
  • Proven ability to work with accuracy, attention to detail, and thorough documentation.
  • Flexibility to handle changing priorities in a dynamic, high-volume work environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
