About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulics Project Engineer to join our Water and Natural Resources team in Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions that protect people, property, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise in bridge hydraulics, scour countermeasure design, river mechanics, channel stability, sediment transport, and floodplain permitting.
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, conduct design calculations, and prepare construction documents.
  • Develop and implement project plans, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor and evaluate team members, and contribute to the development of company-wide best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver high-quality projects.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus on Water Resources or Hydraulic Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in hydraulic engineering or a related field, with a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Strong knowledge of water resources models, including HEC-RAS and SRH2D, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD or MicroStation.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
