Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Storm Drainage Engineer to join our team in Bellevue, WA or Portland, OR. As a key member of our Water Team, you will contribute to the planning, design, and construction of storm drainage projects for local agencies and municipalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater design and hydraulic modeling
  • Develop and create storm drainage plans for complex projects
  • Work with senior staff to exercise judgment and make recommendations
  • Lead engineering teams and support staff development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hydrology and hydraulic analysis, drainage design, and watershed modeling
  • Ability to work independently and manage design tasks
  • PE license or ability to attain within 2 years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience in consulting for public agencies
  • Familiarity with Washington State Department of Ecology, WSDOT, King County, and City of Seattle Drainage design manuals
