Paraprofessional - Special Education Support

Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing support to students with learning disabilities, autism, or mild behavioral challenges in a general education classroom setting. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to coordinate instructional efforts and provide students with the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement instructional plans
- Prepare materials and resources to support student learning
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs
- Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and other areas of the school
- Assist with classroom management and organization
- Communicate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure student success
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Registered license with the Regional Office of Education #17
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students with varying needs and abilities
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Detail-oriented and organized
