Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at NetBrain Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key aspects of our financial and operational reporting, as well as audits, taxes, and other compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Create and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Account for revenue recognition in UK and German subsidiaries.
- Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance metrics to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Establish partner credit limits and monitor collections.
- Coordinate sales and use tax (S&U) filings and compliance related activities.
- Prepare supporting schedules and provide supporting documents for annual financial statement audit, 401k plan audit, and foreign statutory and workers' compensation audits.
- Prepare supporting schedules for federal and state tax compliance and annual tax provision.
- Assist with international accounting, VAT reconciliations, monthly reporting package review, and stat-to-GAAP reconciliations.
- Assist in the implementation of new systems, tools, and technologies that reduce manual work, automate processes, and/or improve internal controls.
- Assist with various projects to improve financial reporting and reduce the monthly close cycle.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant accounting experience. Public Accounting/Big 4 a plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, practices, and internal controls.
- Experience in operating various software systems, such as NetSuite, Salesforce, CaptivateIQ, Avalara, Expensify, ADP, and Adaptive.
- High proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Professional demeanor, sense of camaraderie, and thrive in a team environment.
- Goal-oriented, organized, and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and excels in time management.
- Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
What We Offer
Our comprehensive compensation package is vital in how we recognize our people for the impact they make on us reaching our goals as a company.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $100,000 - $120,000 + Bonus & Stock Options.
The actual salary may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
The range listed above is a guideline, and may be modified.
