Job Summary

As a CNA I, you will provide direct and indirect patient care, working collaboratively with the nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include communicating effectively with patients and families, precepting team members, documenting patient care, and participating in unit quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and interact with patients, families, physicians, peers, and other healthcare members to maximize successful customer outcomes and maximize unit function.
  • Precept team members on job functions and orient patients to the hospital environment and routine.
  • Document all aspects of patient care in a timely manner and participate in unit quality improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate important information and patient needs to oncoming staff during shift changes and to RNs for follow-up.
  • Provide care in accordance with the patient's plan of care, label and deliver specimens per policy, and maintain a safe environment by complying with Northern Light Health policies and procedures.
Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off, is also available.
