Behavioral Healthcare Technician

We are looking for a qualified Behavioral Healthcare Technician to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a Psychiatric Technician I, you will play a crucial role in providing patient-centered care and supporting the recovery of individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders.
About the Position:
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide comprehensive care
- Assist patients with daily activities and promote independence
- Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being and report changes to professional staff
Responsibilities:
- Take a mindful and thoughtful approach to all patient interactions
- Maintain appropriate boundaries and respect patient confidentiality
- Function within the patient care team to ensure successful treatment and stabilization
Working Conditions:
The selected candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, potentially exposed to abusive and/or aggressive people. You will also be required to lift, move, and load less than 20 pounds, as well as stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year
