Job Title: Network Operations Center Manager

RCN Technologies is seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a Network Operations Center Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a cross-functional team to achieve strategic objectives and drive company growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a cross-functional team to achieve strategic objectives and drive company growth.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the deployment and post-sales support journey.
  • Manage and optimize our network operations and customer support teams, providing industry-leading services for monitoring, maintenance, support, field service testing, systems maintenance, security management, training, development, and technical projects.
  • Implement and maintain quality standards, processes, and controls for successful service delivery and product assembly.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop improvements to products based on field testing, customer feedback, and new ideas.
  • Maintain accountability for employee job requirements, success criteria, policies, and procedures, fostering a culture of extreme ownership.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts, increasing efficiency and accuracy across operations.
  • Plan and recruit to maintain necessary staffing levels for successful operations.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and motivating employees.
  • At least 3-5 years in a team leadership position and a degree in Business, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a relevant field.
  • Passion for technology and sufficient understanding of network topology and network management.
  • Certifications from industry leaders such as Cradlepoint, Cisco, Digi, Inseego, Peplink, Juniper, Fortinet, Velocloud, Palo Alto, and Citrix are highly valued, along with relevant training to enhance your expertise.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple departments and initiatives concurrently.
  • Ability to make critical decisions and devise organizational plans for success.
  • Hunger for driving growth and seeking out opportunities for improvement.
  • Capability to tackle complex challenges and find innovative solutions.
  • Stellar verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Wireless Technology, Networking, and Telecommunications preferred (5G, 4G, cellular networking, Wi-Fi systems, POTS systems, local networking, Private cellular, IoT systems, and more).
  • Ability to work effectively with others on a common task, respecting the needs and contributions of the team.
