Position Summary:
The Facilities Shift Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of the property during the designated shift. This role ensures that all maintenance requests, repairs, and emergency situations are handled promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Facility Manager in maintaining the smooth operation of the maintenance department and its personnel during the assigned shift.
  • Organize and assign tasks to maintenance and housekeeping teams.
  • Monitor and enforce preventive maintenance protocols and schedules.
  • Respond physically to urgent situations, including but not limited to fire incidents, power failures, gas leaks, and water issues.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Preferred six (6) months of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Capability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in tight spaces.
  • Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via two-way radio.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any required licenses and/or certifications.
