Position Overview:

As a Facilities Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and operational efficiency of our facilities. Your leadership will ensure that our maintenance team meets the highest standards of performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication: Effectively convey information to various stakeholders, including team members, suppliers, and customers, through both verbal and written channels.
  • Business Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans for your area to meet organizational objectives related to production, quality, and safety, while driving operational enhancements.
  • Workforce Management: Anticipate staffing needs and monitor performance metrics to align with business demands.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage financial responsibilities by tracking expenses against budget, ensuring optimal asset utilization, and preparing comprehensive business reports.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards by maintaining and distributing necessary procedures and documentation.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve concerns from associates, customers, and suppliers, utilizing sound judgment and collaboration when necessary.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide team members, providing direction, performance feedback, and identifying opportunities for professional development.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Financial Management: Direct financial activities within your area, including expense tracking and capital expenditure monitoring.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field, with at least one year of experience in an industrial maintenance setting, or
  • An Associate's Degree or technical certification in a relevant field, accompanied by three years of supervisory experience, or
  • Experience as a Walmart Logistics Maintenance Area Manager, or
  • Three years of supervisory experience in a maintenance or industrial environment.

Preferred Skills:

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:
  • Experience in facility maintenance and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in project management and budget execution
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment and workforce management.
