Job Summary:

The IT Coordinator I will provide technical support for the University of Texas at Austin community. This role will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, maintaining IT inventory, and participating in technical planning for IT-related areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for core technology services, including printing, plotting, and digital fabrication.
  • Analyze and resolve high-priority issues with a sense of urgency.
  • Assist in maintaining IT inventory, including purchasing equipment and preparing end-of-life machines.
  • Participate in technical planning for IT-related areas by developing and deploying workflows and best practices.
  • Provide technical support for events by coordinating equipment and staff coverage.
  • Maintain and update accurate information across several systems.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and coordinate activities with IT staff lead.

Requirements:

  • Excellent technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
