The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a crucial role in managing vendor and subcontractor invoices. Responsibilities include verifying contract details such as quantities, pricing, payment terms, freight charges, and extensions. The specialist will calculate applicable discounts and ensure accurate entry of invoices into TimberScan. Additionally, they will utilize Timberline for processing accounts payable checks and manage the distribution of these checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process vendor and subcontractor invoices.
  • Verify contract details for accuracy.
  • Compute discounts and enter invoices into the system.
  • Print and distribute accounts payable checks.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and team members for invoice approvals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in construction finance.
  • Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent professional experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
